This is where it all started for Cayenne. For more than 20 years each of us were trained in developing what we call a customer view, or market view “fact base,” before embarking on any marketing strategy or planning. Collecting information that is both relevant and actionable regarding your target audience and the market is fundamental. Over the years specific types of information was consistently required by us, or asked for by clients, to inform particular marketing activities. Guided by popularity and need, we soon developed a portfolio of insights services based on real world experiences. Without getting too deep into the weeds regarding data collection strategies and methodologies, which there are many, suffice it to say we have done it all and have streamlined everything based on the most productive and cost effective approaches. Since we are not only insight suppliers, but also marketing strategy practitioners, in many cases we have to consume our own work product—making us a more efficient and effective supplier in hurry!
